I knew you before you knew yourself

Saw the solutions

As you fell

Into traps set before my time

All your own doing

All in your mind

As I walk with the night ripping as I turn days page

Along the edge on the pavement I pace

Bravely in fear

I don’t avoid strangers, just their eyes

Too much can be said through mine

And as I walk

The scenery moves but I feel paused

And I suddenly realise

Nothing is what it is

Nothing actually exists

Things are just words that we have learnt

And placed on physical objects

That are only in our eyes

Colours and light

Art and science

Body and mind

Then what is my heart for?

What is my heart for?
